The Medical Education Team are very keen to further develop and raise the profile of Medical Education at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and we see this role as fundamental to delivering this. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self motivated and dynamic individual Quality Co-ordinator to join our small team at Hampshire Hospitals who is interested in the education of doctors of all grades.
Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) provides hospital services to around 570,000 people living in Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire, and specialist services to patients from all over the country. We deliver a full range of district hospital services in a variety of locations.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have key roles in event management for quality visits, maintain staffing establishment/circulation lists, and work with the team on collation, analysis and presentation of information related to overseeing the quality assurance functions.
Working closely with managers, doctors and the wider team, the co-ordinator will be expected to work with a degree of autonomy, exercising initiative and judgement within agreed boundaries.
Excellent IT skills, a professional and friendly communication style, and high levels of accuracy and attention to detail are essential to the role.

- A Level/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

- Work experience in administration in the NHS, health care or education sector
- Proficient in Microsoft office - Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook, Videoconferencing and TEAMS packages.
- Good working knowledge of internet navigation
- Experience of processing sensitive, complex and confidential data and the use of spreadsheets, databases etc.
Desirable
- Relevant previous experience of either Undergraduate or Postgraduate Medical Education
- Understanding of the education pathway for postgraduate doctors
- Experience of handling and interrogating data

- Excellent English language skills (grammar, spelling)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
