Job summary

The Ward housekeeper will work as a team member in the allocated area under the direction and guidance of the Sister/Charge Nurse or their nominated deputy.

The focus of the role is to support the nursing team with non-clinical tasks by co-ordinating the provision of meals and help maintain a safe, clean, comfortable environment for patients.

Main duties of the job

Twyford Ward is the Acute stroke unit. We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to be a Housekeeper.

Previous experience in this area is not essential as in-house training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped to meet the demands of this role.
