We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated dietitian with excellent communication skills to join our dynamic team in this developing role. There will be opportunities to develop your skills further with the support of expert dietitians and the wider MDT within the field of gastroenterology.

Main duties of the job

Providing a high quality dietetic service to gastroenterology inpatients and outpatients.

Working as part of a team to provide a high quality acute dietetic service.

Working with our nutrition nurse to provide dietetic led coeliac clinics.

Active role in supporting our students and less experienced members of the team.

Opportunities to develop skills in ICU and the nutrition team

We deliver a full range of district hospital services in a variety of locations.

The dietetic department at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a large and friendly department of around 25 dietitians spread across 2 sites (Basingstoke and Winchester) with excellent support from our 3 secretaries. We have close links with the University of Surrey and Winchester University and regularly take dietetic students for their clinical placements.
