Catering Team Leader - Chippenham - 37.5 hours per week
We are looking to recruit a Catering Team Leader at Chippenham Community Hospital, working Monday to Friday. The position is full time - 37.5 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving a high standard of catering practices. Ensuring all food produced meets the required standard for safety, quality and presentation. Complying with the Trusts catering policies and procedures and adhering to Food Safety regulations.
You will be responsible for compliance and ensuring that all paperwork is in good order, this includes food temperature sheets, history sheets, take up sheets and ordering forms.
Main duties of the job
You will assist in providing a food and beverage service for the benefit of patients, staff and visitors, by preparing and serving meals, snacks, drinks and other basic food items to specified standards
As Team leader you will take supervisory responsibility for the Catering Service Assistants including completion of rotas, including ensuring sufficient staff are available to cover any staff sickness or annual leave.
In the absence of the Catering Manager and Hotel Services Supervisor, act as a point of contact for nursing staff that have issues concerning menus', dietary requirements or additional meals that are required.
