Job summary
To provide proactive, comprehensive range of administrative support to the EOL Nursing Team, Community Nursing Teams, NHS@HOME/Virtual Ward Nursing Team, UCR Nursing Team, Phlebotomy, Wheelchairs & Equipment Stores, which will include liaising with other departments and services,responding effectively to enquiries from patients/service users, referrers/ health care professionals, other agencies and the general public. To consistently deliver a patient focused service, to promote good customer service and effective working relationships within the Integrated & Community Care Division. The role will be primarily based at the Orbital offices; however, you will be asked to cover various bases across Swindon when required.
Main duties of the job
- To be responsible for the day to day administrative organisation for the Community Nursing Teams, NHS@HOME/Virtual Ward Nursing Team, UCR Nursing Team, EOL Nursing Team, Phlebotomy, Wheelchairs & Equipment Stores providing general clerical and administrative support including Health Roster oversight for the teams, booking of Bank & Agency when required, booking staff training, supporting the Matron Team with admin processes & diary management where required, answering phones, taking messages, filing, photocopying, scanning, and distribution of post.
- Organise/update staff personnel files.
- Support senior clinicians to arrange 1:1/supervisors and annual appraisals.
- Develop and use appropriate manual and electronic filing systems.
- You will demonstrate high levels of accuracy in documenting various email referrals and processing them appropriately using Systm1, TCES / Pro cloud and other clinical data bases for the services involved whilst always maintaining patient confidentiality
