Job summary
We are looking for a Patient Safety & Governance Administrator to join the Surgery, Women & Children's (SWC) division to support the delivery of Clinical Governance.
The Quality, Patient Safety & Governance Lead Administrator will provide an efficient and effective clerical and administrative support service to the Division in accordance with relevant policies and procedures. They will be required to manage their own workload and operate independently within the role.

Main duties of the job
To provide a high-quality administrative support to the Surgery, Women & Children's (SWC) Division in all aspects of Clinical Governance and Quality Processes, working independently following agreed processes to support the team's workload.
Maintain and Monitor SWC register of Policies and Procedures, issue prompts to document staff members / managers when reviews are due and provide administrative support for the review and updating of policies as required.
Work closely with the Division to support delivery of local level action plans and subsequent projects. Undertaking reporting and analysis of quantitative and qualitative information to support delivery of the Governance agenda.
To provide effective administrative support to the Patient Governance Lead and other meetings including appointment booking, diary management and electronically file documents regularly as appropriate. Also to cover other areas of the leadership team as and when required due to service needs.
