This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Bluebell CoCr team in Swindon in either a Case loading or Integrated model of care
We are looking for a committed and passionate midwife to join our well-established Continuity Team, to provide high quality Maternity care to a caseload of women in the East Swindon Area
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join our of our Bluebell team midwives in a providing maternity care to a caseload of women from the East Swindon area.
Traditionally the team has been based on a Team Case-loading Model requiring a 12hr Day and 12hr Night on call commitment a week to provide intrapartum care to women booked with in the team either in the Delivery Suite, Co-located Birth Centre or a home.
There is also the opportunity for candidates to discuss and explore joining the team on an Integrated basis with 2 community days and one unit based 12hr Day Shift and one unit based 12hr Night shift a week.
As well as collaborating within the team, you'll will also be expected to manage your our diary providing autonomy and flexibility

- Maintain portfolio and PREPP requirements
- Training in management of obstetric emergencies

- Teaching/Mentoring qualification

- Recent experience in all aspects of midwifery practice
- Competencies relevant to sphere of practice
- Evidence of Professional development

- Child Protection training and experience with safeguarding
