Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, focused administrator to join the Perioperative Services Team on a 12 month fixed term contract - this post is Part Time (22.5 hours per week).
The Perioperative Services Governance Administrator will provide an efficient and effective clerical and administrative support service to the Perioperative Services Team in accordance with relevant policies and procedures. They will be required to manage their own workload and operate independently within the role. The candidate will demonstrate strong evidence towards contributing to the team objectives of the department in providing a high-quality service and support as required.
Main duties of the job
- To provide high-quality, administrative support to the Perioperative Services Team in all aspects of Clinical Governance and Quality Processes, working independently following agreed processes to support the team's workload.
- Compilation of evidence and data to support the monthly Perioperative Services Clinical Governance meeting.
- Undertaking reporting and analysis of quantitative and qualitative information to support delivery of the Governance agenda.
- Maintain and monitor the register of Policies and Procedures, issue prompts to document staff members / managers when reviews are due and provide administrative support for the review and updating of policies as required.
- Assist in the effective dissemination, monitoring and implementation of policies, processes and procedures relevant to the Perioperative Services environment.
- Minute / Note taking, coordinating, managing and providing full administrative support and the planning of meetings or events as required within the department.
