Job summary

The Workforce Intelligence team at Great Western Hospital are looking to appoint a Workforce Administrator who will be part of our friendly e-Rostering and ESR support team, providing advice, guidance, and solutions to our trust as we make optimum use of workforce systems.

The post holder will act as a first line support for system users through monitoring shared mailboxes, telephone, face to face or over teams. You will also support the team with ad-hoc information requests, data quality checks, and running workforce reports from the rostering and ESR systems.

The role is a busy, varied and challenging one. We are looking for someone who is confident, takes ownership, someone with great communication skills and some experience of working with Microsoft Applications. You will be working within a supportive team and be given development opportunities to progress your career with the Great Western Hospitals

Full training on the ESR and e-Rostering systems will be provided to the successful applicant through on the job training and online training packages from our system providers. This is an exciting time to be joining us as we strengthen and invest in our capability to take maximum advantage of the systems available.

Main duties of the job

User support to all levels of the Trust in using the electronic Rostering system

System maintenance for ESR and Electronic Roster

Delivery of training to key stakeholders and new managers

Data quality exercises, basic reporting and basic analysis of information

Support to the System implementation or improvement projects

This may require the communication of sometimes complex and contentious information to users from a non-technical background.2. Training on use of system to staff at all levels across organisation either on a one to one basis or in a classroom style environment including in a remote capacity.3. Administration of user account and personnel/contract management for the lifespan of Trust employees.4. Provide and coordinate first level system support to operational areas acting as a viable and accessible point of contact on all aspects of electronic rostering.5.   • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Administration / IT qualification to diploma level or equivalent training and experience.
  • General IT proficiency.
