Job summary

The post holder will be a key conduit between the central team and all localities and departments in the organisation. The post-holder will work closely with the clinical quality, operational and corporate teams, and staff at all levels in the organisation.

The post holder will administer and maintain central governance and risk management systems, providing comprehensive reports and timely information as required.

Main duties of the job

The Occupational Health team under development. Introducing an internal face to supporting staff health. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and past-paced team. Suitable candidates will have some experience in a similar environment and will be willing to be flexible in the approach to the development of the team.

  • Degree level qualification or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience of working in OH role or similar in NHS or other healthcare environment

Desirable

  • NVQ 4 in business administration or equivalent experience

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Knowledge of staff health
  • Experience of formal report writing.
  • Ability to retrieve and interpret and analyse complex data.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office to a high standard.
  • Experience of planning programme of clinics or similar
  • Knowledge of vaccination programmes/ Pre-employment checking
  • Experience of supervising/ mentoring others
