Working closely within a small multi-skilled team, an exciting full time permanent opportunity for an experienced informatics/finance/HR professional to join as one of our People Service Information Analysts.

The successful candidate will focus primarily on the production and analysis of data on our staff across the trust. We are currently going through a programme of improvement and innovation across the trust and expanding our utilisation of the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) System, so it is an exciting time to join the team.

Short-listed applicants will be required to undertake a technical test on Excel as part of the selection process.

Main duties of the job

You will be providing essential workforce reporting and analytical support to the members of the team, Directorate colleagues, Managers and staff in the Trust as a whole, and also to external bodies in the form of statutory/required NHS Returns.

Attention to detail, excellent Advanced Excel and/or Power BI, data analysis and reporting skills are a must in this position. The Trust is an organisation where provisions of information that is timely, relevant and accurate according to the NHS Data Standards and Trust procedures, but all easily accessible to all, is essential. Experience in the use of ESR would also be of benefit.

Ideally you will have a background and previous experience in finance, and/or data analysis provisions would like to develop those in an HR environment. You must have a demonstratable understanding of the importance of data quality, security and confidentiality.
