Job summary

We are currently recruiting for Call Handlers who will be working within a proficient team taking calls from the public, ambulance staff and other health care professionals and will specialise in the Single Point of Contact service.

Main duties of the job

These are responsible roles, which require the applicant to have the ability to remain calm under pressure, to be assertive and flexible, with a caring attitude and to be able to adhere to strict confidentiality and information governance.

About us

The Trust is dedicated to the delivery of the highest possible standards of patient care and is looking to recruit motivated and enthusiastic individuals as Call Handlers working in the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) environment which includes calls of a safeguarding nature.

The SPOC Call Centre has a 24-hour function and it is a requirement of the job that Shift Leaders will be available to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays, including Christmas Day and Easter, according to the duty rota.
