Job summary

As a core member of the Digital Delivery team within the IM&T directorate. The integration Consultant role is central to the delivery of critical integration services across multiple systems which are central to the overall delivery of the Trusts Digital Strategy.

A high degree of autonomy is required in this role to delivery a quality service.

The Integration Consultant will be required to apply in-depth knowledge and skills in the fields of emergency services information technology, Integration across different systems and across different clinical and national settings. As such the role will be expected to work alongside organisation such as local authorities, Acute hospital, Trusts, ICS's, other NHS providers and systems providers. Ensuring that the strategic directions of other organisations locally as well as regional and national are taken into account when developing integration of patient information

Main duties of the job

In collaboration with key stakeholders the main duties on this role are:

  • Develop the strategy for system integration ensuring alignment across the East of England System
  • Collaborate with partners to support strategic direction and support organisational change and uptake of initiatives that support system integration
  • Champion and communication the vision for system and the development of strategy and operational policies to support the vision
  • Draw on key strategic regional and national policy to inform development of strategy and policies
  • Identify examples of national and international best practices
  • Draw on key strategic regional and national policy to inform development of strategy and policies
  • identify examples of national and international best practice and to ensure that local people benefit from system integration
  • Develop and champion new initiatives or projects as necessary
  • provide expertise of best practice methodologies in relation to systems integration to the CCGs and their key partners across their place-based systems
