Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager to lead and drive the business strategies and plans of NPAG, supporting our mission to maximize effectiveness and growth. As the Business Manager, you will play a crucial role in defining, developing, and growing our business, managing support staff, and maintaining robust financial systems. Your responsibilities will include overseeing conference organisation, event management, exhibition management, training workshops, Best Value Groups, and office management. We are looking for a leader with excellent organisational and communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive business success.
Main duties of the job

Business Management:
- Define, develop, and grow the business.
- Lead and manage support staff, serving as the central NPAG contact.
- Maintain management information system databases.
- Identify new business opportunities and conduct market analysis.
- Review pricing structure and suggest revenue-driving ideas.
- Produce and monitor financial forecasting.

Conference Organization, Event Management, Exhibition Management, and Training Workshops:
- Lead responsibility for the retention and growth of each event/training workshop.
- Develop new ideas for events/training workshops.
- Prepare proposals, oversee direction and management, and review/manage risk.
- Undertake site visits, secure venues, and coordinate logistics.
- Create and implement marketing campaigns for each event.
- Manage contractual arrangements and income recovery.
- Analyze client and delegate feedback to improve event delivery.

Best Value Groups:
- Lead NPAG contact for all BVG facilitators.
- Manage recruitment, contracts, and standards for business associates and facilitators.
- Develop and monitor marketing campaigns for BVG membership.
- Provide advice on potential speakers, venues, and sponsorship opportunities.
- Update NPAG Website Members Areas.

Office Management:
- Final sign off on all marketing material.
- Manage staff leave requests, recruitment, and budgets.
- Direct management team and business associate meetings.
- Deal with correspondence, complaints, and queries.
