Job summary
The post holder is responsible for the management and administration of the Trust's Clinical Quality software suite which includes Datix (critical system), auditing and compliance software programmes and for working in a project management role to support the ongoing development of these systems.
The main function of this post is to support the Trust with the development, reconfiguration and testing of the Datix system in response to changing local and national needs and priorities.
Technical knowledge and experience of computer-based systems is paramount due to the high level of data interrogation and analysis required from the post holder.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to work with key personnel, from clinical, managerial and informatics backgrounds throughout the Trust in helping deliver software programmes and their consequent benefits to the Trust. In addition, the post holder will be required to deliver training in these systems to staff and managers at all levels in the Trust.

Essential
- HNC in Business Information Technology, or equivalent Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
Desirable
- RLDatix Certified Professional Practitioner.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Able to undertake and manage all aspects of the Datix and other quality compliance systems including user passwords and security.
- Previous Experience with Data Software including Datix. Able to produce data and statistics from the systems as required.
- Understanding of Data Protection.
- Experience is System Administration & Management.
- Advanced computer skills, excellent knowledge of IT Systems and Windows applications.

- Knowledge of Ambulance Service policy and procedures.
- Previous Ambulance Service experience.
- Experience in Data Input/Collection.
