Job summary
An opportunity has arisen within the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Team for an EDI Administrator. The postholder will work collaboratively across the EDI Team to ensure timely acknowledgement and assist with all enquiries to the department. You will undertake secretarial and administrative duties, preparing documents with a high degree of accuracy including confidential letters and reports. Other responsibilities will include word processing, collating documents, filing, answering calls, monitoring the EDI mailbox/database systems to ensure emails are actioned in a timely manner.
You will also act as a secretary at formal/informal EDI meetings to take notes/minutes, prepare and distribute agenda's notes/minutes and other relevant papers.
Main duties of the job
To work collaboratively across the EDI Team to ensure timely acknowledgement and assistance with all enquiries to the department. Predominantly supporting site-based provision of service withcolleagues and the Workforce Directorate.
To take responsibility for postal duties within the Team
Provide clerical support to the EDI Team as and when required.
To undertake any other typing or ad hoc administrative duties as required.
To reproduce and collate documents using photocopier and other machines.
To be responsible for filing and retrieving documents as required
