Job summary

The Contracts Manager and Social Value lead will ensure robust and effective contract management across a range of contracts within East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) ensuring the tracking, recording and delivery of supplier commitments set out in tender specifications and KPI's.

The post holder will ensure robust contract and performance management of a range of providers working as part of the procurement team and work closely with a matrix of stakeholders to ensure each contract has a contractual lead that understands the contract terms, KPI's and delivery requirements.

They will be the subject matter expert for Social Value and ensure social value is included in all tenders and ensure delivery and tracking of supplier commitments.

The Contracts Manager and Social Value lead will ensure robust and effective contract management across a range of contracts within East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) ensuring the tracking, recording and delivery of supplier commitments set out in tender specifications and KPI's.

The post holder will ensure robust contract and performance management of a range of providers working as part of the procurement team and work closely with a matrix of stakeholders to ensure each contract has a contractual lead that understands the contract terms, KPI's and delivery requirements.

The role will be required to build relationships with other stakeholders in the management of contracts ensuring they are appropriately informed of the contract terms and relevant KPI's and have the skills required to appropriately contract manage the services within their directorate. The Contracts Manager will ensure there are mechanisms in place to understand local concerns, contract difficulties and issues and ensure solutions are proposed to resolve contractual conflict, ensuring lessons are learned for future tendering requirements.

The Contract manager will ensure social value criteria are embedded within all tenders and record supplier commitments and track delivery of those commitments over the contract term holding suppliers to account for their specific commitments alongside stakeholders.
