Two exciting secondment opportunities have arisen to support Make Ready Services' and Workshops' transition into a true 365 days a year, 7 days a week service.

Then this role will suit you as part of a small dynamic temporary team leading a staff consultation.
As a Consultation Lead you will be:
- Meeting with teams and individual staff across the East of England
- Explaining the proposed changes to shift rosters and working hours
- Answering questions on the process
- Providing feedback to the Consultation Project Manager and Consultation Steering Group.
Your role will also involve:
- Collating staff responses,
- Identifying trends and exceptions,
- Producing summarising reports on consultation meetings

Your day-to day reporting will be to the Consultation Project Manager, supported by the Head of Business Relationships.
The Trust has embarked on a transformation programme which will help ensure Operational crews receive a fully serviced vehicle with well-maintained medical devices that is Infection Prevent Control compliant, fully stocked, and mechanically roadworthy.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for arranging and conducting team and individual staff consultation meetings at times and locations which suit existing staff working patterns. As this is a consultation process these meetings will be undertaken face to face. You will need to be willing to adapt your working hours in order to meet staff who work unsocial hours, nights and weekends and be flexible in line with consultation needs,
You will be a key facilitator, need to understand and be able to explain the proposed roster and working pattern changes to both groups of staff and individuals. You will ensure accurate records of consultation meetings are maintained. Collate and summarise into comprehensive reports for review by the Consultation Steering Group. These reports will provide analysis of trends and exceptions, provide insight into the feelings, concerns and cover all aspects raised by staff.
Good communication skills and a basic understanding of IT is essential along with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of effective communications, breaking down barriers to understanding, active listening skills and empathy. You will already have or can quickly gain good knowledge of Make Ready Services and Workshops Service Delivery.
About us
The Head of Business Relationships is the management lead for overseeing the delivery of the consultation and is supported by Consultation Project Manager (one year fixed term) who will provide day to day support, guidance and advice.
The Consultation Steering Group meets weekly via MS Teams and comprises the Head of Estates and Infrastructure, Deputy Director of Operations, Senior HR Business Partner (Infrastructure & Estates), Strategic Infrastructure Transformation Programmes Lead, Head of Make Ready Services, Head of Fleet and Workshops, Fleet Delivery and Transformation Manager, Consultation Project Manager and Head of Business Relationships.
You will also work closely with HR support, Make Ready Areas Managers, Fleet Systems Manager and Workshops Manager.
You will receive the standard Trust benefits during this secondment. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
