We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and compassionate Assistant Practitioner to join our dynamic and friendly Mental Health Liaison Service (MHLS) based at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. This is a fast-paced and rewarding environment where your skills and dedication will be truly valued.
We are looking for innovative and resilient practitioners; a strong commitment to person-centred care; an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team; and a passion for improving mental health outcomes amongst the local population.
You would be joining a supportive and inclusive team.
Main duties of the job
Working alongside our Registered Nurses and Social Workers, you will support with the day to day activities of the team and provide support to service users throughout their journey. You will take part in and contribute to ongoing review of risk assessments, recognising and responding to any changes; attend and contribute to MDT reviews; and liaise with family and carers.
Working within an experienced team, you will be supported with regular supervision and opportunities to work in partnership with health and social care in the wider multi-disciplinary service.
