NSFT is seeking a committed Resourcing Lead to drive safe, timely, and people-focused recruitment across our Trust. This is a key role, ensuring our processes are fair, efficient, and aligned with our TALK values.
About the RoleAs Resourcing Lead, you will:
- Lead and develop a high-performing resourcing team, supporting Locality Resourcing Advisors, Assistant Resourcing & Compliance Lead, and Resourcing Administrators.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring compliance with NHS pre-employment checks and employment legislation.
- Advise managers on recruitment best practice, policies, and procedures, including work-related visas and international staff employment.
- Design, plan, and deliver recruitment campaigns to meet workforce and service development needs.
- Analyse recruitment data, develop reports, and identify areas for improvement to impact key metrics such as Time to Hire.
- Ensure effective use of recruitment systems (TRAC, ESR) and support the Trust's social recruiting strategy.
- Promote inclusive hiring and support the delivery of the workforce aspects of the Equality Delivery Scheme.
- Represent NSFT at recruitment fairs, conferences, and external events, acting as an ambassador for our Trust.
Main duties of the job
What We're Looking For
- Degree-level knowledge, training, or equivalent experience in HR/Recruitment.
- Experience leading a high-volume recruitment function, ideally within the NHS or a regulated public sector.
- Strong understanding of employment law, NHS recruitment policy, and inclusive recruitment practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- Commitment to teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous professional development.
