What We're Looking For
- Degree plus additional relevant training or equivalent experience to master's level.
- Significant experience at an operational and strategic level in workforce systems, information, and planning.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, deliver customer-focused people services, and influence at senior levels.
- Highly specialised knowledge in workforce systems, recruitment, medical HR, and equality and diversity issues.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
Main duties of the job
As our Senior Resourcing, Rostering and Medical People and Culture Manager, you will:
- Lead the Resourcing, Medical HR, and Temporary Staffing Teams, providing an effective, efficient, and customer-focused service that meets the changing needs of the NHS and NSFT.
- Develop and deliver strategic workforce plans and innovative recruitment solutions, working collaboratively across the People and Culture Directorate, Finance, and Operational colleagues.
- Ensure our Medical HR service supports safe, high-quality patient care and meets the needs of our clinical services.
- Use high-quality workforce information and analysis to inform and influence strategic and tactical business planning.
- Oversee compliance with employment governance, visa management, and regulatory requirements, ensuring robust systems and accurate reporting.
- Champion continuous improvement in service quality, developing and implementing training and capability-building programmes for recruitment, medical job planning, and rostering.
- Represent NSFT at internal and external forums, providing expert advice and acting as a role model for compassionate, person-centred leadership.
