0.6 wte 8a clinical/counselling psychologist (maternity cover) in Norwich City adult community mental health teams (Central Norfolk Locality)
We're looking to recruit a clinical/counselling psychologist or psychotherapist for this 12 month fixed term maternity cover role. The role involves providing a broad range of psychological services based in our Norwich city community mental health teams, as part of a growing psychology and therapy team and under the supervision of experienced colleagues.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the job are to provide consultation, formulation, assessment and psychological intervention to service users and carers within a CMHT context. You will provide evidence-based individual and group interventions and help provide our workshop programme. You'll also help the broader team deliver psychologically informed interventions and provide training to support this. There'll be opportunities to take part in quality improvement projects as part of a supportive and dynamic psychology team.
About us
We have three CMHTs covering the Norwich area, all based at City Anchorage at the Julian Hospital. There is a positive culture around formulation led and trauma-informed care and we provide a broad range of NICE-endorsed therapeutic approaches, including a full DBT programme. We are pro-active in developing staff around our identified service needs, supported by further training and project work. Psychology Services within the Trust have strong links with partners including UEA, and NSFT's Recovery College, in which they play an active role.

- Registered as a practitioner psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HCPC)

Experience

- Experience working as a qualified clinical/counselling psychologist (Band 7) and supervise trainee clinical psychologistable to evidence appropriate knowledge and experience in practice to enable the post holder to clinically supervise trainee clinical psychologist
