Are you an administrator looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Do you have excellent communications skills and a keen eye for detail? Can you effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
The NDD pathway are looking to recruit a conscientious, calm and confident individual to become part of the Business Support Team. Our successful applicant will be working alongside Business Support and Clinical colleagues within the CFYP Care Group, Neurodevelopment Pathway supporting Young People and their families.
This role is a full time, substantive position, based at Walker Close in Ipswich.
You must possess excellent time management skills, a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems. You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively. Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining confidentiality are also essential.
Main duties of the job
Duties include (but not limited to)
- Maintaining electronic patient record systems
- Maintaining and monitoring waiting lists
- Diary management
- Arranging appointments
- Typing of letters
- Telephone work
- General business support to wider clinical team
Undertake other appropriate duties, as directed, being adaptable and flexible to service needs and changes across the locality.
Promote adherence to Trust Policy and support compliance in all areas
Promote a positive culture within the workplace; working within the remit of the Trust Values
Previous administration experience is essential however training will be given.
