Job summary
City Adult Community Mental Health Teams is looking for an enthusiastic psychology graduate who is interested in applying for 24 months fixed term full time post, working in a busy team alongside other psychology professionals. It is essential that the applicant is eligible for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society. Our services cater for adults with complex or enduring mental health needs across the Central Norfolk locality.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve delivering psychologically informed interventions under weekly supervision from a qualified clinical psychologist. There will be opportunities for both individual and group work, as well as service-related research and audit. You will have a chance to undertake some inhouse training and co-facilitate teaching for psychology and non-psychology colleagues.
In our service we highly value personal growth and professional development, and as a department we have close links to the clinical psychology doctoral training programme at the UEA and have supported our previous assistant psychologists onto clinical training.
Previous experience of working with mental health presentations are desired attributes.
