Within our specialist service you can look forward to a supportive and collaborative team with low manageable caseloads, with friendly, visible and accessible senior staff and medics. We offer specialist perinatal training, line management, caseload and clinical supervision monthly. This role is unique. The attachment relationship between birthing person and child underpins the work undertaken, holding baby in mind and being their voice at times when this may be hard for the parent, but also shedding light and celebrating on what they are doing. The Nursery Nurse role supports birthing people on their journey of parenting, offering nurture and support through therapeutic interventions such as baby massage, VIG, Watch Wait Wonder, Circle Of Security and Solihull as they navigate support within their mental health.
