Job summary
Changes taking place within our Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Service, based in Norwich, have created the exciting opportunity to recruit into 3 Case Manager posts, 1 secondment for up to 6 months and 2 maternity cover, fixed term posts for 12 months.
The EIP Service look after people in the Norfolk and Waveney area experiencing a first episode of psychosis and typically work with them for up to 3 years. Our dedicated team works flexibly between 8am-6pm, Mon-Fri.
From our base in Norwich, we work collaboratively and have strong links with teams across our patch in Norfolk and throughout the system including social care.
You'll be joining a diverse team including registered nurses, peer support workers, psychologists, clinical nurse specialist and dedicated admin to name a few!

Main duties of the job
Work with Service Users aged between 14 and 65, experiencing a first episode of psychosis.Duties and responsibilities include: - Management of a caseload. - Assessing individuals referred into the EI service. - Carry out risk assessments. - Work collaboratively with Service Users and support them, using a range of evidence-based interventions. - Recovery focused. - Liaise with and support carers. - Involvement in family work (BFT). - Provide psychosis education. - Complete outcome measures. - Work closely and communicate effectively with EI colleagues; other care providers and agencies. - Have knowledge of prescribed medications to SU's and potential side-effects. - Ensure Service User CPA / Section 117 meetings are planned as required and communicated. - Engage in monthly clinical and management supervision sessions. - Clinical Supervision to student OT's and Nurses. - Engage in Continued Professional Development.
