Job summary

I want to tell you about the exciting role we have for an experienced nurse to be our new charge nurse in secure services, NSFT. Let this be the first steps into a leadership role within our fantastic secure services care group.

We are looking for an individual to join our forensic inpatient units. Who share our team passion of providing high quality, collaborative and thoughtful care to our service users.

Secure inpatient services support Females and Males, over 18 years old, in low and medium secure environments. We provide inpatient support for those who have come into contact with the criminal justice service and who are now detained under the mental health act.

In the secure care group we believe passionately in developing our own to become our future leaders and enabling you to have rewarding career within our supportive and close sector.

Secure inpatient services in Norfolk comprises of 3 male wards at Northside house in St Andrews, and 1 female ward at Hellesdon Hospital.

Main duties of the job

As part of the role you will be supported to develop your leadership skills, and be responsible for implementing high standards of care. You will be supporting the facilitation of training programmes for our junior members of staff with an opportunity to create bespoke training packages for newly qualified nurses.
