Are you looking for variety to build on your existing skills & gain experience in specialist areas of Mental Health nursing? We have an exciting rotation opportunity available throughout our Adult Mental Health services based in Great Yarmouth.

*£3k Welcome bonus / Relocation bonus available (T&C'S Apply)*

This unique opportunity is available for Mental Health trained Registered Nurses who would like to work in the following areas: Adult Acute Inpatients (Northgate Hospital), Mental Health Liaison Team (James Paget Hospital) and Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (Northgate Hospital).

This is a new rotation programme where you will rotate around all three areas & spend 8 months in each setting; you'll have the opportunity to gain insight into aspects of the acute pathway here in Great Yarmouth, exploring 3 different areas & at the end of the 24 months you'll have a substantive post in one of the areas you have spent time in on your rotation.

All three areas are fast paced services where no two days will be the same. This is the ideal role for someone who is interested in understanding the adult acute pathway and will be a fantastic foundation to prepare you for the next steps in your career.

Working on a rotation will give you the opportunity to work with a variety of professionals with different skills sets and experience, all with the same goal in mind. You will work with specialists in key areas & gain broad experience to prepare you for band 6 roles and beyond.

Main duties of the job

If you are a Registered Mental Health Nurse looking to gain experience in different areas and want to widen your expertise, then this could be the ideal role for you!

You'll need to take a flexible approach to your work and remain calm under pressure; being aware of the operational pressures faced in acute settings is also vital.

We're looking for a mental health nurse; you'll need to be dedicated, flexible and keen to gain invaluable experience for the future.

Working on this rotation programme will provide you with hands on experience to enrich your nursing career. You'll be welcomed, valued and supported by all of the teams you will be working alongside and can expect local inductions and training throughout.
