The Trust is seeking a Specialty Doctor to join the Early Intervention in Psychosis Team.

This post relates to the Great Yarmouth & Waveney locality which has a population of about 220,000.

The EIP team provide early intervention services for those experiencing a clear first presentation of psychotic illness. Patients from age 14 years to 65 years old are provided for. This post will provide medical input for those aged 18 to 69 (a local CAMHS Consultant provides cover for those aged 14-18 years).

Main duties of the job

The team provide a comprehensive multidisciplinary package for patients and families for a period of up to 3 years in line with National standards for EIP services and NICE guidance. The EIP team have an open caseload of about 90 cases on average.
