Job summary
The Norfolk & Waveney Specialist Services is looking to recruit an experienced, motivated, and adaptable Performance and Information Business Support Manager to work within our senior management structure. This role may require the successful candidate to work across care groups at times, to make sure that we can deliver consistent business support to all Specialist Services.
The individual will be key in delivering information and intelligence to help drive improvements in performance and support transformation projects and initiatives across the Trust aimed at improving service user care. The Trust is evolving as we focus on improving how we collate, analyse and share our information to drive better clinical performance and we are seeking to appoint confident, committed, skilled and motivated individuals to work as part of the clinically led Specialist Services Care Group. You will play a pivotal role in the development of the care groups or specialist service by offering knowledge and guidance, ensuring that an information analysis service is maintained alongside the delivery of Business Intelligence platforms.
Working as part of the Specialist Service Care Group, you would be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of reporting and the delivery of project work. You will have previous experience of working flexibly, under pressured conditions and be adaptable to changing requirements and deadlines.
Main duties of the job
Your role will involve leading a team made up of a Band 6 Business Support Manager and a number of Administrators, who are responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient business support across the Care Group.
You should have the ability to produce intelligence derived from a range of data collected via Trust systems held locally and deliver succinct reporting that supports stakeholder requirements that may be used for service delivery, service improvement, business planning and commissioning. You will possess good technical, analytical, communication and organisational skills with a flair for improvement. Candidates should be educated to Degree level or equivalent experience. Experience of using Microsoft Excel to interrogate, analyse and present data in appropriate formats is an essential requirement of this post. Knowledge of a wide range of NHS Hospital Based Systems and applications including Power BI is desirable.
This is a full-time post (37.5 hours). There is flexibility around the working pattern and on where the post will be based with opportunities to work remotely. There will be a requirement to travel across Norfolk and Suffolk on occasion.
