Discover an exceptional career opportunity as a Trainee CBT-P Therapist, specialising in either personality disorder or psychosis within the Bury South Integrated Delivery Team, located in Bury St Edmunds and serving the populations of Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill and Sudbury
This unique role offers a funded salary: throughout your training journey, you'll be employed at Band 6, with progression to a substantive CBT Therapist B7 position upon completion of training and BABCP accreditation.
As a pivotal member of our team, you'll collaborate closely with psychologists and other psychological therapists within the team, under the guidance of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. Your primary focus will be to provide NICE concordant CBTp interventions to service users with personality disorder or psychosis, andother complex needs. This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of an evolving pathway in this area, shaping the future of our services.
Support and mentorship will be at the heart of your experience, as you'll have the chance to assist others in the multidisciplinary team who are delivering these vital interventions through consultation and supervision.
Main duties of the job
- Delivering specialised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis or Personality Disorder to working-age adults, including opportunities for individual and group work.
- Collaborating within a dynamic multi-disciplinary mental health team, ensuring seamless integration of care, and providing consultation, supervision and training to non-therapist team colleagues.
- Adhering to service procedures, protocols, and guidelines to maintain exceptional standards.
- Balancing managerial and clinical supervision to optimise your performance and growth.
