Job summary

Opportunity for Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner/Care Coordinator - Band 5 Developmental post would be considered depending on experience

Secondment could be considered for the right candidate

We cover the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area, which includes Lowestoft/Beccles area

Due to service development we have an available post/s in our team.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about improving services for those experiencing a first episode of psychosis aged 14-65. This is a substantive opportunity to become a part of a highly skilled and experienced team delivering interventions to those people experiencing a first episode onset of psychosis. Previous experience of working with Psychosis in Early Intervention teams would be advantageous but not essential.

You will be work alongside a dedicated group of clinicians who hold the service user, family, carers and social recovery at the centre of all that they do whilst being guided by National Standards to deliver timely and evidenced based interventions.

Part time and full time hours considered.

Band 5 developmental post would be considered depending on experience.

A core qualification is required, you might be a nurse, social worker or occupational therapist.

Phone calls, teams calls or visits to meet the team and manager are welcomed.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for the care coordination of a caseload of people, working alongside the current MDT to deliver NICE concordant care.
