Do you have proven clinical skills in delivering trauma informed care? The Staff Support Service are looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the team based across Norfolk and Suffolk.
With our clinical bases both in Norwich and Ipswich our team works in a with a balance of home and virtual working, as well as offering face to face appointments to NSFT staff members. The Staff Support Service is made up of Clinical Nurse Specialists and Clinical Psychologists who all share an interest in building on new interventions such as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Tension, Stress and Trauma Release (TRE)
We deliver a high standard of clinical trauma based interventions to staff with the aim to provide quick, easy and confidential access to therapy.
This role is ideal for an individual who has experience in working with people who have experienced vocational trauma and been impacted by moral injury. The role also requires the individual to have certified training in a therapy qualification (EMDR/CBT/CFT/ACT/CAT etc)
This is an opportunity for a qualified mental health nurse to join an exciting, dynamic and developing service.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a specialist Nurse who holds a therapy qualification and who has experience of working with individuals who have experienced trauma which is affecting their ability to carry out work duties.
The role will include being part of the triage process, completing assessments and delivering nurse led interventions. You will hold and manage your own caseload and will be involved in service promotion and group intervention sessions throughout the Trust.
The role will include supervisory responsibilities to other team members and new staff members will be trained as TRiM practitioners to assist in delivering and carrying out TRiM assessments and interventions.
