Job summary
Exciting and Unique opportunity to work alongside adults, social workers and children in care in a variety of ways! Do you have skills in working with systems, in considering models of developmental trauma, attachment and therapeutic parenting? Do you like a varied role in which you work as a team and contribute broadly across systems and organisations? We are looking for a passionate individual who loves to work creatively with children and their networks around them.
Main duties of the job
- 5 days per week we will invite you to work in some of Suffolk's Children's Homes, working with the staff group providing support with formulations and developing the Trauma-informed approach across the sites.
- You will be involved in training, supervision, running reflective practice groups, and being part of complex consultations, as well as evaluating the impact of the service. This is a mainly Indirect clinical working model with limited exposure to working clinically 1-1 with the children themselves. This post provides opportunity for strategic and clinical leadership experience.
- This is an excellently supported post with a Clinical Lead (8B Clinical Psychologist) working alongside the post holder, as well as other Clinical Psychologists in related teams. This is a well performing service, which is highly regarded by Suffolk County Council and the Children's Homes Teams.
