Job summary

Clinical Psychologist for Compass Schools

Based in Norfolk, the Compass Schools provide therapeutic education provision to children and young people in partnership with Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust and Unity Trust. Compass Belton is a long-term specialist education and mental health provision combined school, catering for up to 25 young people ranging from Key Stage 1 to the end of Key Stage 3. All of our pupils have an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) with a primary need of Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The Compass Schools provide a range of therapeutic services for these vulnerable children, young people and their families.

Main duties of the job

Working as part of a vibrant and enthusiastic therapy department, expectations include managing a clinical caseload, providing individual and group interventions, to co-facilitate staff reflective practice sessions, deliver training, provide supervision and undertake research. The role offers the opportunity to be part of an environment that has a strong emphasis on Teamwork, access to training resources and the opportunity to deliver longer-term therapy.
