Job summary
Are you passionate about nursing in mental health? Are you an experienced nurse with a background in the care of adults with mental illness? If so, we want to hear from you! We are recruiting a Nurse Consultant to provide leadership, expert clinical care and to help shape our offer to people who need support from the Community Mental Health Team in West Norfolk.
Main duties of the job
You will provide expertise and leadership to your multidisciplinary colleagues in all aspects of best practice for the care of adults with a mental health need. You will be lead care professional for people receiving support in the service. You will be knowledgeable around psychologically informed approaches to care, and be able to work alongside individuals through a diagnosis and treatment plan This is an exciting role for a dynamic, ambitious and forward-thinking senior nurse.
You will work within our Community Mental Health Teams as a clinical leader with a focus on supporting the developments in community based mental health care. This is an exciting time for our services, with a system wide transformation of community mental health support happening over the next 3 years. strengthening our dementia pathway and older adults offer. You will work clinically in the multidisciplinary team, taking forward our development of nurse led assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
