Do you have proven skills in CBT therapy? We're looking for an experienced therapist to join our established team based in Newmarket.
Based within West Suffolk we cover Brandon, Thetford, parts of Bury and Newmarket. Our team strive to deliver a high level of care to Young People in the 16-25 age range and their families;a positive team culture is a priority, and all team members are valued.
We work in a hybrid way with a balance of home and virtual working and face to face patient contact.
This is the ideal role for someone experienced in CBT therapy who wishes to expand their skillset and work alongside a dedicated and positive team, with complex, challenging, and interesting cases.
With new leadership in post, there is an opportunity to be part of a developing and exciting new Young Adult care pathway across Suffolk. We are looking to establish a service that draws on models such as the Power Threat Meaning Framework, AMBIT, and Thrive as well as systemic, attachment and developmental models. We are committed to embedding a collaborative, curious, person-centred stance that focuses on helping young people make sense of the context of their distress and access appropriate interventions when needed.

Main duties of the job
Community work allows an ability to apply CBT skills in a creative and flexible way with young people and their families, who are constantly presenting us with different and novel challenges in a fast changing service context as young people's mental health becomes a national focus and priority.
We're looking for a specialist Nurse with a therapy qualification and who has experience of working with individuals with emotional difficulties within the needs types of anxiety and depression, emotional dysregulation, trauma and psychosis.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting teams through organisational and structural change, understand the key issues which can impact on child and adolescent mental health, be confident in supporting the Community Team Manager, and effectively provide strong leadership to the team to ensure everyone reaches their full potential.
This role will include supervisory and case management responsibilities, assessment and the specific delivery of treatment. The CFYP care group is embarking on an exciting transformation and we would like you to help us develop this process with our senior Leadership Team.
