We're opening our newly refurbished Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, Rollesby and need forward thinking, dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team.
This is a huge opportunity to become part of a superb team who will be specialising in care for people requiring intensive nursing interventions, within an environment which is low in stimulus but high in engagement. You'll be fully supported by our visionary management team who have pledged to work together, to make sure that we do all we can to help deliver outstanding care to people admitted to our inpatient unit.

We have full and part time opportunities available and can be flexible regarding hours and shift patterns. We can offer rotations too, for those interested in working across some of the other patient pathways.

Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse you will play an important role in supporting service users in planning their care, in particular Personal Behaviour support plans, monitoring risk and updating risk assessments, monitoring physical health and (where planned) delivering brief interventions. As a team we are working to create a culture of psychological safety which requires honesty, openness and authenticity.

We have strengthened our nurse leadership, have clear nursing pathways with training and development to support aspirations alongside a range of pathways to choose. We will give you a solid structured induction and on-going support from managers and senior clinicians. There will be a plan for professional development and specialised training for this type of Intensive care nursing which will be supported through regular meaningful supervision and appraisals. This will be an amazing opportunity for personal development and to influence a fresh approach to intensive psychiatric care.
