We work hard to ensure that from the very moment people access our services to the moment they leave their care will be outstanding.A role which will challenge your thinking, expand your knowledge and connect with your heart.I am looking for a strong, skilled, and confident Senior Nurse who has experience of supporting families reach their potential through their clinical expertise, whilst working in a pressurised environment.As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be an integral part of the CFYP Leadership Group working alongside the Community Team Manager (CTM), Psychology and Psychiatry Lead working towards our vision to not only make a difference, but to also support families to grow and sustain change.

The successful applicant will work alongside myself, and the leadership team as we support staff, children, young people and families through the next steps of our transformation journey.

Main duties of the job

The candidate would have experience supporting teams through organisational and structural change, understand the key issues which can impact on child and adolescent mental health, be confident in supporting the Community Team Manager, and effectively provide strong leadership to the team to ensure everyone reaches their full potential.

The main duties of this role will include but not exhaustive to:o Clinically Leading the Team, working with the Community Team Manager and Psychology and Psychiatry Lead to continually develop an environment to inspire colleagues to deliver a high standard of evidenced based practiceo Clinical Supervision of appropriate colleagueso Manage the Team in the absence of the Community Team Managero Support the Community Team Manager within Governance Meetingso Lead the Team within Clinical discussion around Young People and their families within Team Safety Huddles, Post Assessment Discussions (PAD) and Team specific Critical and Essential Meetingso Work in Partnership with other the wider Service Line, Care Group, Trust and Partner Agencieso Support colleagues to grow, share clinical expertise and knowledge of best practiceo Auditing of work from a clinical perspective and support the Consultant Psychiatrist as appropriateo Review and continually develop a Team vision and process for improving the Service Delivery
