Main duties of the job
Ideal candidates will have excellent mental health assessment skills, time management and risk management, will also be creative, adaptable and flexible within their role.
This position involves being in charge of the shift, leading confidently, acting as a role model for both inpatients and colleagues, planning implementing and evaluating services for our inpatients.
You will have excellent communication skills and will work towards having a good understanding of the importance of family and carers roles for our inpatients and work alongside them to provide purposeful admissions.
We will be supporting and making sure you are listened to and you will be given access to training as well nurturing any special interests that might be applied on the ward setting!
About us
Great Yarmouth & Waveney Acute Services is based in a purpose-built mental health unit comprising of 1 acute mental health inpatient ward as well as the Crisis Resolution, Home Treatment team.
As well as clinical and management supervision we offer group supervision and reflective practice.
Free parking is available for staff on site.
