A Consultant Psychiatrist is required for the East Suffolk Adult Eating Disorders service.

We are pleased to invite prospective applicants to apply for the Consultant Psychiatrist position to work in our Adult Eating Disorder team working within our Children, Families and Young People's (CFYP) Services.

Our CFYP services continue to thrive and innovate. We led the way nationally by developing the first 0-25 specialist service in the UK. The Suffolk CFYP service is unique and aspires to address the issues for children and young people's mental health and wellbeing from 0-25.
Main duties of the job
You will join a service with highly skilled colleagues and a compelling vision of services for children, families and young people. You will need to be committed and able to collaborate and share skills and expertise with an established multi-disciplinary team, all of who have a passion for high-quality care to meet the needs of the children, families and young people across Suffolk.
The 0-25 service is unique and aspires to address the needs of children and young people and remove the barriers and transitions in services. We work with our local partners to respond to the pressures in the system and with a supportive and compassionate senior leadership team, they will encourage you to develop innovative ideas for quality improvement making our services safer and focused on the needs of young people.
About us
We want someone who can lead by example and provide Clinical leadership to the Eating Disorder Services across East Suffolk in order to deliver high-quality care to patients who suffer from ED and have very complex needs.
The Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust's unique CFYP service aspires to address the issues raised by the children and young people's mental health and wellbeing taskforce. Over the past 12 months, CFYP has seen the expansion and growth in existing and new services such as Perinatal Community Mental.
The service has good links with the local Acute Hospitals providers across Suffolk and has established links around transition with under 18s Eating Disorder Services and other secondary mental health services within NSFT.
