Abbeygate Ward is based at Wedgwood House on the main West Suffolk Hospital site in Bury St Edmunds.
We are looking for an individual who is committed and able to integrate within an established large multi-disciplinary team which is supportive and friendly. We pride ourselves as a team on delivering care that is second to none and we are consistently rated as good for caring by CQC. As a team we are keen to develop and share our knowledge. We hold case discussion and reflection sessions, and alongside individual managerial supervision you will also receive clinical supervision. You will have a personal development plan to look at your strengths and how we can work with you to build on them.
We offer a stimulating experience in a specialist service and are proud of the quality of our achievements. We are enthusiastic about working with older adults - if you are too and find people fascinating and inspiring and want to join a management team to deliver great outcomes, we have the opportunity for you.
Main duties of the job

You will demonstrate a sound understanding of your role as a Lead Professional or Primary Nurse and join our friendly multidisciplinary team working closely with our statutory and non statutory partners to provide appropriate interventions and promote recovery for those individuals admitted to the ward.
