If you do, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 6 Specialist Eating Disorders Dietician post to join the Great Yarmouth and Waveneys all-age Community Eating Disorder Service (CEDS). The all age service was set up to eliminate the transition of young people to adult eating disorders services where possible with the aim of providing continuity of care and better outcomes for patients receiving treatment.
This position is also open to applicants that require a development role.
The service is continuing to develop so you will have the chance to be part of these exciting developments. We have a multidisciplinary team approach to assessment and treatment and provide evidence based NICE compliant psychological interventions. The service also takes a keen interest in research within eating disorders and use standardised outcome measures to track CEDS progress.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work along side the band 7 Senior Dietician in assessing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating a dietetic programme of care for patients receiving treatment.
Maintain a high standard of clinical work in compliance with NICE guidelines for eating disorders and the Care Quality Commission.
Maintain accurate and clear documentation and clear communication.
