Job summary

Workforce Information Assistant - Band 3 - 37.5 hours - Fixed term 12 months

Develop a thorough understanding of the role and responsibilities of the Registration Authority and take part in all appropriate training as required by the National Programme for IT.

Reporting to the Workforce Information Manager, the post holder will be the first point of contact for any smartcard issue and will support the Registration Authority Manager to provide efficient and responsive maintenance of HR system in a timely manner, ensuring staff and managers can confidently utilise systems and information.

The post holder will also be delivering training on how to utilise HR system and provide system access.

The post holder is also responsible for supporting the preparation of data on workforce information metrics for reports on People Analytics, ESR (Electronic Staff Record), TRAC and other HR systems.

Main duties of the job

As a Registration Authority agent, you will be responsible for smartcard drop-in session, managing the IT RA-Sunrise system in a timely manner and investigating/escalating any smartcard queries.

Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for running and manipulating professional and accurate report from ESR (Electronic Staff Record), TRAC, People Analytics and other HR systems. Knowledge of ESR Business Intelligence and TRAC is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

You will also be required to deliver people Analytics training and provide access when required.

The post holder will also be required to support and cover colleagues as and when required by the Workforce Information Manager.
