Band 6 Sister/Charge NursePermanent contract
The £20m refurbishment of our Urgent and Emergency Care has been completed, so there has never been a more exciting time to join the Urgent and Emergency Care team, influencing and shaping the both the Emergency Care our patients receive and the environment our staff work in.
The new state of the art Emergency Department includes:
- 10 bedded resuscitation area
- 29 majors' cubicles
- 2 mental health assessment rooms
- Rapid assessment and treatment area
- 8 cubicles within the Children and Young Peoples Emergency Department
Main duties of the job
- To provide clinical expertise to the departmental team, acting as a role model in the deliveryof patient care.
- To support the Team leader in the effective management of the clinical area
- To always act in a manner consistent with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, carrying out his/her duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
- To lead, support, supervise and teach staff.
