Specialist Rotational Clinical Pharmacist - Band 7 - 37.5 hours - Permanent
We are looking for an enthusiastic pharmacist to join our friendly team of Clinical Rotational Pharmacists. With a new Chief Pharmacist, an ambitious 2 year departmental strategy and the pharmacy robot being replaced in 2025; we are in the prime position to support you to become an outstanding clinical pharmacist and help you fulfil your full potential.
Our team of Clinical Rotational Pharmacists participate in 6 month rotations working across all divisions within the trust giving the post holder the opportunity to experience a breadth of clinical pharmacy practice and professional development. Rotations include Aseptics, Anticoagulation Clinics, Intermediate Care Services, Medicines Information, Clinical Trials, Medical Admissions, General Medicine, Paediatrics and Surgery and Orthopaedics
We will fully fund and support you to undertake relevant post graduate training including the independent prescribing qualification and leadership training.
Participation in the extended hours, weekend, Bank Holiday and on-call service will be required
Main duties of the job
- To provide an advanced clinical pharmacy service to ward(s) within specialist area.
- To deliver designated performance objectives specific to the allocated rotation area(s).

- Pre-registration training and experience

- Completed or undertaking a post-graduate diploma / MSc in clinical pharmacy or equivalent experience

- Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society
