Job summary
A newly created role and team, this role is part of our Robotic Process Automation programme which is looking to identify and implement automation solutions to improve productivity and efficiency within People and OD services.
The Automation Business Analyst role is responsible for the engagement with People and OD team managers and process owners to identify, prioritise and create detailed key-stroke level process mapping instructions of what human workers perform when completing a process.
You will contribute to the design of automation solutions, including process flows, data requirements, and user interfaces. Work with customers to write software specifications for sign-off by stakeholders.
This role comes with full training and support to develop the specific skills you will need to work as part of a team to identify, develop and implement automations across People and OD services.
You should be educated to degree-level, ideally in a computer science/IT-related field (or have equivalent experience). You will need strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities, with the capacity to understand complex problems, but be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical people. Experience of working with automation technologies in healthcare or the NHS would be an advantage.
Main duties of the job
In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and implementing automation solutions to improve efficiency and productivity within People and OD services within the Trust. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed requirements for automation projects.
