The Talent, Leadership and Organisational Development (OD) Consultancy Team, working across Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care Foundation Trust and Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a driven and innovative individual to both organisations to become great places to work where colleagues reach their full potential.
Talent management, succession planning and enhancing leadership capability are key priorities within the NHS People Plan. You will be part of a wider OD Service that is helping NHS leaders and colleagues to fulfil the 'Our People Promise' to improve the experience of working in the NHS for everyone.

Main duties of the job
Key elements of the role include:
Designing, implementing & evaluating inclusive and impactful talent management strategies, tools & interventions.
Creating & delivering assessment approaches to identify talent.
Developing & embedding succession planning tools and approaches.
Delivering, commissioning & evaluating leadership and management development interventions.
Managing & improving our coaching and mentoring offer.
Embedding our new Let's Talk Conversation Toolkit designed to support more impactful wellbeing, career and performance conversations.
Working with partner organisations to support talent management across local systems.
To succeed in the role, you will need:
A passion to help others to learn and grow.
Experience of working in learning and development.
Strategic knowledge of how to implement cohesive & progressive talent and leadership development programmes.
Knowledge of evaluation tools and approaches.
Strong facilitation skills including virtual delivery.
Negotiation and influencing skills.
Proactive relationship management skills and a positive can do approach.
The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver on objectives
