Transformation Project Manager Band 6 - 37.5 hours per weekPermanent contract
4 days a week onsite (optional 1 day WFH per week)This is an exciting role for a project manager to either build on existing or develop further project management skills. Leading on several improvement projects as part of the Service Transformation Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic change agent with experience of projects and change management in a healthcare setting to lead on the implementation of several improvement projects across a range of departments within the Trust.
The candidate will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with and lead ward and departmental teams through change. Using strong project management techniques to successfully deliver service improvements.
The post holder will act as ambassador for service improvement and promotion of a range of recognised quality improvement approaches and change management models to identify opportunities to support teams to deliver their financial, activity, user experience and clinical and quality outcomes and supporting teams to implement new clinical care pathways which improves health and wellbeing.
The post holder will encourage innovation and maintain a continuous improvement culture amongst staff, leading by example by constantly challenging current practice, whilst identifying opportunities for improvement for the benefit of our patients.
Main duties of the job
- Manage targeted improvement and change management projects independently at any one time.
- Act as an effective role model, contribute to a culture of civility and inclusivity, positive performance management and develop own credibility through the demonstration of high standards.
- Support the Service Transformation Managers on large scale transformation programme's as part of the Trust's objectives and strategic direction to provide safe effective services and outcomes
- Lead on the performance monitoring and reporting of improvement projects, with responsibility for monitoring progress of the implementation in line with the programme timeline, recognising changing priorities and implementing corrective actions where necessary. Take responsibility for the maintenance of project documentation and reporting.
- Undertake complex data analysis from a range of sources to identify opportunities for improvement and review progress against agreed key performance indicators.
- To report on and manage risks and issues within the projects and escalation to the project Senior Responsible Officer and operational leads where required.
- Assist in creating and delivering internal and external presentations, reports and communication materials to support delivery of improvements.
