Job summary
This is a joint role as part of the Transformation Team's across Stockport Foundation Trust and Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care Foundation Trust. The key focus of this role is to support Transformation projects, National Initiatives and Improvement work across both Trust's through the development of various promotion and communication materials.
The post holder will take a lead role in supporting improvement work across both organisations, this includes managing all communications for the teams, managing the planning and delivery of promotional events and in the overseeing or development of all visual content that comes out of the Transformation Teams at both Trusts, including the management and facilitation of the Annual Transformation Events on both sites.
The post holder will be expected to exercise initiative with an understanding of the objectives of both organisations which will underpin promotional communications.
The post holder will also take the lead on producing visual content for the Transformation Teams across the Stockport and Tameside sites.
The post holder will be an organised and highly motivated individual who can work autonomously and as part of a team.
There may be occasions when the post holder will be required to be flexible in order to work evenings / weekends to support the team and meet the needs of the service.
The post holder will also be required to travel to support system wide projects.
Main duties of the job
- Management of the request process for all requests for promotional/communications support for both Stockport and Tameside and will assist in the prioritisation of workload.
- Creation of audio and visual resources to support improvement initiatives and other requests from both Stockport and Tameside.
- Identifying and developing new digital and visual solutions and ways to engage with colleagues and service users as appropriate to develop the Transformation offer.
- Working with operational, medical and clinical staff as well as engaging with service users to ensure the most effective form of media or communication is utilised, this may require some negotiation around appropriate approaches.
- Gathering and analysing data to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of various content development as necessary.
- Researching the appropriate methods of delivery for a promotion or communication campaign.
- Arranging and planning the Annual Transformation events, managing all event administration, documentation, personnel and attendees.

- Formal qualification in project management and/or a design related field

- Previous experience of working in an office based role
